As I look back on this year, I reflect on how much we have accomplished together.
I'm proud of my team for the work they have delivered, and I'm thankful to you for choosing to work with us.
One of my personal highlights was the completion of the Hoist Finance UK Acquisition in October, it's been a long process and a lot of work for teams across Lowell, but finishing the year welcoming over 1 million new customers and 180 new colleagues to the Lowell family is something I'm very proud of.
Our financial results have remained robust in a challenging market and the launch of our inaugural sustainability report demonstrates our commitment to make credit work better for all. Closing out the year by winning the CCS Company Award for Sustainability is testament to the hard work delivered across Lowell to ensure we have a positive impact on our customers, clients and communities.
We continue our work on our Financial Vulnerability Index to ensure we understand the financial health of UK households, enabling us to tailor and develop new customer solutions, and our collaboration with the Centre for Social Justice is enabling us to work towards influencing financial literacy education for young people .
In 2023 we will once again be sponsoring the Parliamentary Reception at Credit Week, we will share more details in the new year but please do get in touch if you wish to discuss in more detail.
Finally, I am delighted to share with you that we were named Debt Purchaser of the Year for the 4th year in a row, at the CCS Awards on the 30th November. Our mission is to make credit work better for all, this is integral to the work we do every day and supports the award submission for Debt Purchaser of the Year. We couldn't do the work we do without our clients, so thank you to each of you for enabling us to achieve our goals.
All in all 2022 has been a very busy and productive year, and we couldn't have achieved all that we have without the support of our clients.
